20 weeks and the anatomy scan :)

Ok guys, I am 20 weeks in a few hours and so I decided to take my picture tonight and spill the beans about my anatomy scan!! I am super excited about this picture because I made a chalkboard frame and I think it turned out great!

On to the anatomy scan...it went GREAT! We got to see our little GIRL punch me in the gut and squirm all around. She is measuring on target to the day and weighs 11 ounces :) Everything is coming along nice and smooth! Woohoo!!

Can't wait for these comments!

Nearing the halfway mark with Baby #1

So here I am in all my pregnant glory! Still a tiny bump but definitely having to wear maternity pants. And let me tell you! THEY ARE AMAZING!!!!

It was my goal to get away with spending as little as possible on maternity clothes. One of the best ways I have found to accomplish this is by purchasing dresses that I can wear pregnant or not. During the colder months, I pair them with leggins and a sweater and boots and during the warmer months, well, I will wear them just as they are! I found this little dress on ModCloth and I LOVE it! ---> Jet Zag Dress.

My husband and I find out the sex of the baby in 6 days and I am overflowing with excitement! I want a girl and he wants a boy...of course! We have our names picked out for each sex, now all we need is that ultrasound :) It just so happens to be scheduled on my stepmom's birthday so what a surprise that will be! As a gift to her, we are going to buy something gender related and wrap it for her to open that night. Updates to follow!

I'm pregnant!

I certainly fell off the grid with keeping up with my blog but rest assured I am back! I am going to document this pregnancy all the way! Expected due date is June 21, 2012. I will be 12 weeks tomorrow, December 8th, 2011. Hopefully I can start posting pictures of my growing belly!

Since I am almost out of the first trimester, lets take a look back at how it went ;)

My symptoms were pretty minimal other than the crazy increase in breast size! Yowza!! I started out as a 34C/D (after having a breast reduction last October) and I am now hovering around a 34DD/E. It's like I never had surgery...except for those lovely scars (by the way Palmer's Vitamin E lotion is a miracle worker). Slight nausea here and there, extreme fatigue..like can't stay up for my FAVORITE television shows fatigue...chicken, blech...salads....blech...fatty/greasy foods...yummmm!

So 5 pounds later, here I am at week 12! Finally getting my energy back and ready to start showing :)
